Ingredients
- 4.0 tbsp butter (topping)
- 1.0 cup brown sugar (topping)
- 2.0 tsp cinnamon (topping)
- 4.0 tbsp flour (topping)
- 0.666 cup chopped nuts (topping)
- 3.0 cups flour
- 1.0 tsp salt
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 4.0 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 cup soft shortening
- 2.0 eggs
- 1.0 cup milk
- 1.0 tsp vanilla
Directions
- 1. Mix butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and nuts for topping, set aside.
- 2. Combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
- 3. Add shortening, eggs, milk, and vanilla, beat well.
- 4. Spread half the batter in a greased 9x13” pan.
- 5. Sprinkle with half the topping.
- 6. Repeat with remaining batter and topping.
- 7. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
