Ingredients
- 5.0 tbsp baking cocoa
- 0.625 cup oleo
- 0.625 cup vegetable oil
- 1.25 cups cold water
- 2.5 cups sifted flour
- 2.5 cups sugar
- 0.625 cup buttermilk
- 3.0 eggs, beaten
- 1.25 tsp baking soda
- 1.25 tsp cinnamon
- 0.25 cup oleo (frosting)
- 3.0 tbsp milk (frosting)
- 2.0 tbsp baking cocoa (frosting)
- 0.3125 cup English walnuts (frosting)
- 1.25 tsp vanilla (frosting)
Directions
- 1. Boil cocoa, oleo, oil, and water.
- 2. Add to flour and sugar mixture while hot.
- 3. Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda, and cinnamon.
- 4. Pour into a greased and floured full sheet pan.
- 5. Bake at 400°F for 18 minutes.
- 6. Melt oleo, milk, and cocoa for frosting.
- 7. Add powdered sugar, walnuts, and vanilla.
- 8. Spread on hot cake.
