Ingredients
- 18.25 oz orange or lemon cake mix
- 2.0 tbsp brown sugar
- 1.0 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1.0 tbsp cold butter or margarine
- 0.5 cup chopped pecans
- 0.75 oz instant vanilla pudding mix
- 4.0 eggs
- 1.0 cup sour cream
- 0.333 cup vegetable oil
- 1.0 cup confectioners’ sugar (glaze)
- 2.0 tbsp milk (glaze)
Directions
- 1. Combine 2 tbsp cake mix, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter until crumbly.
- 2. Stir in pecans, set aside.
- 3. Mix pudding, eggs, sour cream, oil, and remaining cake mix, beat 2 minutes.
- 4. Pour into two greased 8x4x2” loaf pans.
- 5. Sprinkle with pecan mixture.
- 6. Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes.
- 7. Cool in pans 10 minutes, then move to racks.
- 8. Combine glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm bread.
