Italian Breadsticks

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 4.0 tbsp butter
  • 1.0 tbsp yeast
  • 4.5 cups flour
  • 1.0 tsp salt
  • 1.0 tbsp sugar
  • 1.0 egg, beaten
  • 1.0 amount Italian dressing
  • 1.0 amount Italian seasoning
  • 1.0 amount Parmesan cheese
  • 1.0 amount chopped pepperoni
  • 1.0 amount mozzarella cheese

Directions

  • 1. Heat milk for 1 minute, add butter, heat 30 seconds.
  • 2. Add yeast to milk mixture.
  • 3. Blend flour, salt, and sugar with a dough hook.
  • 4. Add milk mixture and egg, knead 1-2 minutes.
  • 5. Scrape bowl, knead 3-4 minutes until smooth.
  • 6. Shape into a ball, let rise until doubled.
  • 7. Roll into a 24x15” rectangle.
  • 8. Sprinkle half with dressing, seasoning, pepperoni, and cheeses.
  • 9. Fold over, cut into 1-inch strips, twist.
  • 10. Place on buttered pan, drizzle with dressing.
  • 11. Let rise.
  • 12. Bake at 350°F for 20-30 minutes.
