Ingredients

  • 0.666 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1.0 cup sugar
  • 3.0 eggs
  • 1.666 cups milk
  • 2.333 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.0 cup cornmeal
  • 4.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1.0 tsp salt

Directions

  • 1. Cream butter and sugar.
  • 2. Combine eggs and milk.
  • 3. Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt.
  • 4. Add dry mix alternately with egg mixture to creamed mixture.
  • 5. Pour into a greased 13x9x2” pan.
  • 6. Bake at 400°F for 22-27 minutes.
