Sweet Potato Casserole

Spiced sweet potato bake with topping

Ingredients

  • 5.0 sweet potatoes
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1.0 tsp vanilla
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 2.0 beaten eggs
  • 0.0 canned milk (enough to soften)
  • 0.25 cup butter (for topping)
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar (for topping)
  • 0.5 cup pecans (for topping)
  • 3.0 tbsp flour (for topping)

Directions

  • 1. Bake or boil sweet potatoes, then mash.
  • 2. Mix with salt, cinnamon, butter, vanilla, sugar, eggs, and enough canned milk to soften.
  • 3. Place in a baking pan.
  • 4. Mix topping ingredients (butter, brown sugar, pecans, flour) and spread over the mixture.
  • 5. Bake until heated through.
