Sweet Potatoes, Candied

Marshmallow-topped sweet potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2.0 23-oz cans whole sweet potatoes in syrup
  • 0.5 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 4.0 tbsp butter
  • 0.0 miniature marshmallows

Directions

  • 1. Drain sweet potatoes and place in a buttered 9-inch square baking dish.
  • 2. Cut butter into pieces and sprinkle over potatoes.
  • 3. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the top.
  • 4. Bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes.
  • 5. Remove, cover with a single layer of marshmallows, and bake until puffy and light brown.
