Ingredients
- 0.0 cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced (to fill a gallon jar)
- 0.0 onions (optional)
- 4.0 cups sugar
- 4.0 cups vinegar
- 1.5 tsp turmeric
- 0.5 tsp celery seed
- 1.5 tsp mustard seed
Directions
- 1. Fill a gallon jar nearly full with sliced cucumbers and onions if desired.
- 2. Mix sugar, vinegar, turmeric, celery seed, and mustard seed without heating.
- 3. Pour solution over cucumbers.
- 4. Seal and refrigerate for 5 days before using.
