Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup canola oil
  • 3.0 cups raw, dry rice
  • 1.0 8-oz can tomato sauce
  • 9.0 cups water
  • 3.0 tsp chicken granules
  • 1.0 tsp garlic powder
  • 1.0 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Directions

  • 1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • 2. Add rice and brown, stirring constantly.
  • 3. Stir in tomato sauce and water, then bring to a boil.
  • 4. Add chicken granules, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  • 5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes without stirring.
