Ingredients
- 0.25 cup canola oil
- 3.0 cups raw, dry rice
- 1.0 8-oz can tomato sauce
- 9.0 cups water
- 3.0 tsp chicken granules
- 1.0 tsp garlic powder
- 1.0 tsp onion powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
Directions
- 1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- 2. Add rice and brown, stirring constantly.
- 3. Stir in tomato sauce and water, then bring to a boil.
- 4. Add chicken granules, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- 5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes without stirring.
