
Rich potato casserole with topping

Ingredients
- 2.0 packages hash brown potatoes, frozen and diced
- 0.5 cup melted butter or oleo
- 1.0 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp pepper
- 1.0 can cream of chicken soup
- 2.0 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cup chopped onions
- 2.0 cups sour cream
- 2.0 cups crushed corn flakes
- 0.25 cup melted butter (for topping)
Directions
- 1. Thaw potatoes and combine with butter, salt, pepper, soup, cheese, onions, and sour cream.
- 2. Spread in a 3-quart casserole or large flat baking dish.
- 3. Sprinkle corn flakes mixed with melted butter over the top.
- 4. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1½ hours.
