Cheesy Potatoes

Creamy hash brown casserole

Ingredients

  • 2.0 lb hash brown potatoes, southern style
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 1.0 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp pepper
  • 0.5 cup chopped onions
  • 1.0 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1.0 16-oz carton sour cream
  • 2.0 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 2.0 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 2.0 tbsp melted butter (for topping)

Directions

  • 1. Thaw potatoes and mix with butter, salt, pepper, onions, soup, sour cream, and cheese.
  • 2. Spread in a greased 3-quart casserole or flat baking dish.
  • 3. Sprinkle crushed corn flakes mixed with melted butter over the top.
  • 4. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 75 minutes.
