
Creamy hash brown casserole

Ingredients
- 2.0 lb hash brown potatoes, southern style
- 0.5 cup melted butter
- 1.0 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp pepper
- 0.5 cup chopped onions
- 1.0 can cream of chicken soup
- 1.0 16-oz carton sour cream
- 2.0 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 2.0 cups crushed corn flakes
- 2.0 tbsp melted butter (for topping)
Directions
- 1. Thaw potatoes and mix with butter, salt, pepper, onions, soup, sour cream, and cheese.
- 2. Spread in a greased 3-quart casserole or flat baking dish.
- 3. Sprinkle crushed corn flakes mixed with melted butter over the top.
- 4. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 75 minutes.
