Raisin Cream Pie

Creamy raisin pie with meringue

Ingredients

  • 1.0 cup raisins
  • 0.0 water to cover raisins
  • 1.0 cup sweet or sour cream
  • 2.0 egg yolks
  • 0.75 cup sugar
  • 2.0 tbsp flour
  • 1.0 tsp vanilla

Directions

  • 1. Cook raisins in water until softened.
  • 2. Beat cream with egg yolks, then add sugar and flour.
  • 3. Combine with raisins and cook until thick.
  • 4. Stir in vanilla.
  • 5. Pour into a 9-inch baked pie shell.
  • 6. Top with meringue made from egg whites.
