Ingredients
- 3.0 cups milk, scalded
- 0.5 cup cornstarch
- 1.33 cups sugar
- 0.0 pinch of salt
- 1.0 tsp vanilla
- 3.0 egg yolks
- 1.0 cup cold milk
- 0.75 cup coconut (for coconut pie)
- 0.25 cup raisins (for raisin pie)
- 1.0 banana, sliced (for banana pie)
Directions
- 1. Mix cornstarch, sugar, egg yolks, salt, vanilla, and cold milk.
- 2. Pour in scalded milk and stir constantly until thick.
- 3. Remove from heat and let cool.
- 4. Add coconut, raisins, or sliced banana as desired.
- 5. Pour into a baked pie shell.
- 6. Top with whipped topping.
