Cereal and peanut bars

Ingredients

  • 1.0 cup sugar
  • 1.0 cup sweet cream
  • 1.0 cup light corn syrup
  • 2.0 cups Rice Krispies
  • 5.0 cups corn flakes
  • 2.0 cups salted peanuts

Directions

  • 1. Cook sugar, cream, and syrup to 230-235°F (soft ball stage).
  • 2. Pour over Rice Krispies, corn flakes, and peanuts, mix well.
  • 3. Pack into a buttered 9x12 inch pan.
  • 4. Cool and cut into squares.
