Ingredients
- 0.0 tomatoes
- 0.0 hot water
- 0.0 red food coloring
- 1.0 tsp salt (per quart)
Directions
- 1. Wash and core tomatoes, then cut into pieces small enough for jars.
- 2. Pack tightly into jars.
- 3. Add hot water with red food coloring until jars are ¾ full.
- 4. Add 1 tsp salt per quart.
- 5. Seal and process in a hot water bath for 35 minutes after water returns to a boil.
