Frozen Bananas

Chocolate-coated banana pops

Ingredients

  • 3.0 bananas
  • 3.0 ice-cream sticks
  • 2.0 1.5-oz chocolate bars
  • 1.0 tbsp chopped nuts, granola, crispy rice cereal, or shredded coconut

Directions

  • 1. Peel bananas, remove fibers, cut in half widthwise, and insert an ice-cream stick into each half.
  • 2. Wrap in plastic and freeze for 3 hours.
  • 3. Melt chocolate bars in a microwave-proof bowl on high for about 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
  • 4. Stir nuts, granola, cereal, or coconut into melted chocolate.
  • 5. Spread chocolate mixture over frozen bananas with a butter knife.
  • 6. Place on a waxed paper-covered plate and freeze until ready to serve.
