Beef Jerky (Marinated)

Flavorful oven-dried jerky

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb beef or round steak, cut into very thin strips
  • 1.0 tsp liquid smoke
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 1.0 tsp onion salt
  • 0.25 tsp pepper
  • 1.0 tsp garlic salt or powder
  • 0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  • 1. Marinate beef strips in liquid smoke, soy sauce, onion salt, pepper, garlic salt, and Worcestershire sauce overnight.
  • 2. Lay strips over oven racks, with foil on the bottom to catch drips.
  • 3. Bake at 150°F (lowest setting) with oven slightly ajar for 8-12 hours until dried out.
