Ingredients
- 3.0 lb top round steak, cut into very thin strips
- 0.0 salt
- 0.0 pepper
- 0.0 liquid barbeque smoke
Directions
- 1. Layer ½-inch thick beef strips in a crock, sprinkling each layer with salt, pepper, and liquid barbeque smoke.
- 2. Repeat until all beef is used, then weight down and leave overnight.
- 3. Drain and dry strips with paper towels.
- 4. Place strips on an oven rack.
- 5. Bake at 150°F for 4-11 hours, depending on desired dryness.
