Ingredients

  • 0.875 cup scalded milk
  • 1.0 tbsp yeast
  • 0.0 salt to taste
  • 0.0 little sugar
  • 2.0 tbsp shortening
  • 1.0 egg
  • 12.0 wieners
  • 0.0 oleo for brushing

Directions

  • 1. Make dough with milk, yeast, salt, sugar, shortening, and egg.
  • 2. Let dough rise once, then knead down to ⅜-inch thick.
  • 3. Cut into 3x5-inch rectangles to cover each wiener.
  • 4. Wrap wieners, squeezing dough together on ends and sides.
  • 5. Brush tops with oleo.
  • 6. Place on a greased cookie sheet and let rise for 45 minutes.
  • 7. Bake at 350-375°F for 20-25 minutes.
