Ingredients
- 0.875 cup scalded milk
- 1.0 tbsp yeast
- 0.0 salt to taste
- 0.0 little sugar
- 2.0 tbsp shortening
- 1.0 egg
- 12.0 wieners
- 0.0 oleo for brushing
Directions
- 1. Make dough with milk, yeast, salt, sugar, shortening, and egg.
- 2. Let dough rise once, then knead down to ⅜-inch thick.
- 3. Cut into 3x5-inch rectangles to cover each wiener.
- 4. Wrap wieners, squeezing dough together on ends and sides.
- 5. Brush tops with oleo.
- 6. Place on a greased cookie sheet and let rise for 45 minutes.
- 7. Bake at 350-375°F for 20-25 minutes.
