Taco-seasoned beef wraps

Ingredients

  • 8.0 8-inch flour tortillas
  • 2.0 lb hamburger
  • 0.5 medium head lettuce, chopped
  • 1.0 lb mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1.0 package taco seasoning
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 2.0 tomatoes, chopped

Directions

  • 1. Brown hamburger and drain grease.
  • 2. Mix water and taco seasoning with hamburger, simmer 10 minutes, then turn off heat.
  • 3. Stir in lettuce.
  • 4. Warm each tortilla in microwave for 15 seconds.
  • 5. Place tortilla on a 12x12-inch waxed paper square.
  • 6. Add ¾ cup hamburger mixture, 1 tbsp tomatoes, and a handful of cheese.
  • 7. Roll up tortilla, wrap in waxed paper, and secure with a toothpick.
  • 8. Microwave all 8 sanchos on high, turning pan after 2½ minutes.
