Reuben Casserole

Corned beef and sauerkraut bake

Ingredients

  • 11.0 oz can sauerkraut, drained
  • 2.0 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 2.0 tsp thousand island dressing
  • 2.0 tbsp butter
  • 8.0 oz packages sliced corned beef
  • 2.0 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1.0 can biscuits (6)
  • 2.0 crisp rye crackers, crushed
  • 0.25 tsp caraway seed

Directions

  • 1. Spread sauerkraut in a 12x8-inch dish.
  • 2. Top with tomato slices, dot with dressing and butter.
  • 3. Cover with corned beef and sprinkle with cheese.
  • 4. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes.
  • 5. Separate biscuits and layer on top.
  • 6. Sprinkle with crackers and caraway seed.
  • 7. Bake 15-20 minutes more until biscuits are brown.
