Mexican Casserole (Fritos)

Beef and chili with Fritos

Ingredients

  • 1.0 lb ground beef
  • 1.0 large onion, chopped
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 16.0 oz can chili
  • 10.0 oz can tomato soup
  • 1.0 package medium Fritos
  • 1.0 cup grated cheese
  • 0.0 dash of ketchup

Directions

  • 1. Brown ground beef and simmer until done.
  • 2. Add onion and salt.
  • 3. Mix chili with tomato soup, simmering until gravy-like.
  • 4. Line a large casserole with half of the Fritos.
  • 5. Pour in meat mixture.
  • 6. Top with remaining Fritos, cheese, and ketchup.
  • 7. Bake at 400°F until cheese melts.
