Classic bacon-topped loaf

Ingredients

  • 2.0 lb ground round steak
  • 2.0 eggs
  • 1.5 cups bread crumbs
  • 0.75 cup ketchup
  • 1.0 tsp Accent
  • 0.5 cup warm water
  • 1.0 package Lipton’s onion soup mix
  • 3.0 strips bacon
  • 8.0 oz Hunt’s tomato sauce

Directions

  • 1. Mix ground steak, eggs, bread crumbs, ketchup, Accent, water, and soup mix thoroughly.
  • 2. Place in a loaf pan.
  • 3. Top with bacon strips.
  • 4. Pour tomato sauce over all.
  • 5. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
