
Cheesy ham and veggie casserole

Ingredients
- 3.0 cups cooked rice
- 6.0 tbsp butter
- 2.0 cups bread crumbs
- 3.0 tbsp flour
- 0.25 tsp pepper
- 2.0 10-oz packages frozen broccoli, cooked and drained
- 1.5 cups chopped onion
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 3.0 cups milk
- 4.0 cups diced ham
- 8.0 oz American cheese, grated
Directions
- 1. Melt 2 tbsp butter and mix with bread crumbs.
- 2. Sauté onion in remaining 4 tbsp butter.
- 3. Blend flour, salt, and pepper into onion mixture.
- 4. Stir in milk slowly, cooking until thick.
- 5. Add ham, rice, and broccoli, heating until bubbly.
- 6. Pour into a casserole dish.
- 7. Sprinkle with cheese, then top with bread crumbs.
- 8. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
