Barbequed Meatballs

Savory meatballs in BBQ sauce

Ingredients

  • 3.0 lb hamburger
  • 12.0 oz evaporated milk
  • 2.0 cups oatmeal
  • 1.0 tsp salt
  • 3.0 eggs
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 1.0 tsp garlic salt with parsley
  • 1.0 tbsp chili powder
  • 2.0 cups ketchup
  • 2.0 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 1.0 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp garlic salt with parsley (for sauce)

Directions

  • 1. Mix hamburger, milk, oatmeal, salt, eggs, onion, garlic salt, and chili powder.
  • 2. Shape into walnut-sized balls and place in a 9x13-inch glass pan.
  • 3. Combine ketchup, liquid smoke, brown sugar, and garlic salt in a saucepan.
  • 4. Bring sauce to a boil.
  • 5. Pour sauce over meatballs.
  • 6. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
