
Pork chops with potatoes and cabbage

Ingredients
- 4.0 pork chops
- 2.0 tbsp fat for frying
- 0.0 salt and pepper as desired
- 1.0 small onion, chopped
- 1.0 can cream of celery soup
- 1.0 can milk (equal to soup can)
- 3.0 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1.0 small head of cabbage, shredded
- 0.25 cup flour
Directions
- 1. Brown pork chops in hot fat, season, and remove from pan.
- 2. Simmer onion in drippings until soft.
- 3. Add soup and milk to make a sauce.
- 4. Layer potatoes and cabbage in the skillet or a buttered casserole dish, starting with potatoes.
- 5. Sprinkle layers with flour.
- 6. Pour sauce over layers and place chops on top.
- 7. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
- 8. Uncover and bake 30 minutes more, adding milk if dry.
