
Stir-fried chicken with nuts

Ingredients
- 1.0 small chicken breast, diced
- 1.0 can chicken broth
- 0.33 cup water
- 2.0 tbsp corn starch
- 1.0 tbsp soy sauce
- 2.0 tsp garlic salt
- 1.0 cup onions, cut up
- 1.0 cup celery, cut up
- 1.0 cup drained water chestnuts
- 1.0 cup drained bean sprouts
- 1.0 cup drained bamboo shoots
- 1.0 cup almonds or cashews
- 2.0 tbsp peanut oil
Directions
- 1. Heat 1 tbsp peanut oil in a skillet.
- 2. Add diced chicken and cook on high until done, then remove.
- 3. Add 1 tbsp peanut oil to skillet.
- 4. Stir-fry onions and celery.
- 5. Add water chestnuts, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, and garlic salt, then heat through.
- 6. In a saucepan, mix broth, water, soy sauce, and corn starch, then cook until thick.
- 7. Combine sauce with vegetables.
- 8. Add chicken and nuts, then serve over rice.
