Servings: 6
Ingredients
- 4.0 beaten eggs
- 1.0 cup milk

- 2.0 teaspoon orange liqueur (optional)
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
- 1.0 loaf thick sliced bread (artisan bread)
- 2.0 tablespoon butter
Directions
- 1. In a shallow bowl, beat together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and, if desired, orange liqueur and/or cinnamon and nutmeg. Dip bread slices into the egg mixture, coating both sides (if using challah bread or brioche, let soak in the egg mixture about 10 seconds on each side).
