Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup oleo
  • 1.0 cup flour
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup nuts
  • 2.0 egg whites
  • 1.0 cup sugar
  • 10.0 oz strawberries, undrained
  • 1.0 tsp vanilla
  • 1.0 tbsp lemon juice
  • 8.0 oz whipped topping

Directions

  • 1. Mix oleo, flour, brown sugar, and nuts.
  • 2. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes, stirring often.
  • 3. Whip egg whites to stiff peaks, adding sugar gradually.
  • 4. Add strawberries, vanilla, and lemon juice, beat 20 minutes.
  • 5. Fold in whipped topping.
  • 6. Sprinkle half of topping in a 9x9” pan.
  • 7. Add filling and remaining topping.
  • 8. Freeze.
