Grandma’s Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1.75 cups rice
  • 1.5 quarts water
  • 1.0 tsp salt
  • 0.875 cup sugar
  • 1.0 quart milk
  • 2.0 eggs, beaten
  • 1.0 tsp vanilla

Directions

  • 1. Boil rice in water until absorbed, stirring with a fork.
  • 2. Add sugar, milk, and beaten eggs.
  • 3. Boil again until thick.
  • 4. Remove from heat.
  • 5. Add vanilla and serve.
