Toll House Oatmeal Cookies (with Butterscotch Morsels)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1.0 tsp baking soda
  • 1.0 tsp salt
  • 1.0 cup soft butter or shortening
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 1.0 tsp vanilla
  • 0.5 tsp water
  • 2.0 eggs
  • 2.0 cups Quaker Oats
  • 6.0 oz butterscotch morsels

Directions

  • 1. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • 2. Blend butter, sugars, vanilla, and water.
  • 3. Beat in eggs.
  • 4. Add flour mixture, mix well.
  • 5. Stir in oats and morsels.
  • 6. Drop by half teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  • 7. Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.
