Ingredients
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1.0 tsp baking soda
- 0.125 tsp salt
- 0.5 cup shortening
- 0.5 cup white sugar
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 0.5 cup peanut butter
- 0.5 tsp vanilla
- 1.0 egg, beaten
Directions
- 1. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt.
- 2. Cream shortening, gradually add sugars, beat well.
- 3. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
- 4. Add flour mixture, blend well.
- 5. Roll into walnut-sized balls, flatten with a fork dipped in sugar.
- 6. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes.
