Ingredients
- 1.0 cup Crisco or shortening
- 1.0 cup brown sugar
- 1.0 cup white sugar
- 1.0 cup coconut
- 3.0 cups rolled oats
- 1.0 cup flour
- 2.0 eggs
- 1.0 tsp baking soda
- 1.0 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1.0 tsp vanilla
Directions
- 1. Mix shortening and sugars well.
- 2. Add eggs and vanilla.
- 3. Stir in oats, flour, coconut, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- 4. Roll into balls, flatten with a sugar-dipped glass.
- 5. Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.
