Ingredients
- 1.0 cup raw Spanish peanuts
- 1.0 cup sugar
- 0.5 cup light corn syrup
- 0.125 tsp salt
- 1.0 tsp butter
- 1.0 tsp vanilla
- 1.0 tsp baking soda
Directions
- 1. Mix peanuts, sugar, syrup, and salt in a 1.5-quart casserole.
- 2. Microwave on high for 8 minutes, stirring after 4 minutes.
- 3. Stir in butter and vanilla, microwave 2 minutes more.
- 4. Add baking soda, stir until foamy.
- 5. Pour onto a greased baking sheet, spread thin.
- 6. Cool and break into pieces.
