Peanut Brittle (Using Unsalted Dry Roasted Peanuts)

Ingredients

  • 2.0 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 0.5 cup light corn syrup
  • 2.0 tbsp water
  • 1.5 cups unsalted dry roasted peanuts
  • 1.0 tsp baking soda

Directions

  • 1. Line a baking sheet with foil, coat with butter.
  • 2. Boil sugar, corn syrup, and water over high heat.
  • 3. Add peanuts, cook to hard ball stage.
  • 4. Remove from heat, add baking soda.
  • 5. Spread thin on prepared sheet.
  • 6. Cool and break into pieces.
