Ingredients
- 0.5 cup oleo
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 1.0 tsp vanilla or lemon extract
- 2.0 eggs, beaten
- 4.5 cups flour
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp baking soda
- 1.0 cup sweet cream
- 1.0 dash nutmeg
Directions
- 1. Cream sugar and oleo.
- 2. Add vanilla and eggs.
- 3. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and nutmeg.
- 4. Add flour mixture alternately with sweet cream to creamed mixture.
- 5. Refrigerate dough.
- 6. Roll out thick on a floured surface.
- 7. Cut with cookie cutters.
- 8. Bake at 350°F or 375°F until bottoms are white.
